Unrefined Shea Butter is the natural fat extracted from the seed or pit of the fruit of the Karate Tree which is indigenous to West African Savanna. Used traditionally as an ointment for rheumatism, burns and light wound treatment. It has high natural antioxidant properties.
 
No water is used in the making of this product. Just pure, rich ingredients. It is a must for pampering your skin in any season.
 
Unrefined Shea Butter has a natural, earthy, nutty smell and because it is unrefined, it retains the highest level of beneficial healing properties. Most cosmetic manufacturers’ today use refined and ultra-refined which removes most or all of the natural properties of shea butter.
 
It does have a natural latex component so those that are allergic or have a latex intolerance may also have an intolerance to Shea Butter.
 
**We do not ship this product in warm weather...Whipped Shea butter melts at body temperature.
